India, What Are You Up To?

For the past few months if you read newspapers in India, you will find 2 topics which always there, one is about the India - US Nuclear Deal 123, second is India's armed force muscle which is enlarging.

Started with the willingness of the ruling government of UPA to own civil nuclear energy which they say in order to give light bulb to the children living in villages untouched by modernization. Getting a nod from US with the hyde act and then continued with 123 agreement. Now, though there is a big obstacle from the Left parties and BJP not to operationalize the deal, but government give strong indication that they will move on.

A big question mark come to my mind, is it true that India want to have this nuclear energy to supply electricity power? Me, I am not sure. Because for that purpose India can get it from other ways also, which is even saver and cheaper. I see some possibilities. Main reason will be Pakistan and China. As neighbor and India's enemy which has nuclear power, Pakistan and China become a great threat for India. As India used to have war with both of them. Other reason is, may be wants to be considered more as nuclear country, because India want to be a developed country, developed country must have nuclear power, to show its position to the world, that India is a global player.

Next big issue is about India doing war exercise with other countries. India do war exercise with many countries. To be named are US, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Russia, England, Gulf countries, Thailand. Why so many exercise? I think India's main reason is to show it's non align position. India is close to not only US, or Russia, but also other countries

I F

Dari Teman
If you're mad with someone, and nobody's there to fix the situation... You fix it.
Maybe today, that person still wants to be your friend.
And if u don't, tomorrow can be too late .

If you're in love with somebody , but that person doesn't know...tell her/him.
Maybe today, that person is also in love with you.
And if you don't say it, tomorrow can be too late.

If you really want to kiss somebody... kiss her/him.
Maybe that person wants a kiss from you, too.
And if you don't kiss her/him today, tomorrow can be too late.

If you still love a person that you think has forgotten you...tell her/him.
Maybe that person have always loved you.
And if you don't tell her/him today, tomorrow can be too late.

If you need a hug of a friend... ask her/him for it.
Maybe they need it more than you do.
And if you don't ask for it today, tomorrow can be too late.

If you really have friends who you appreciate...tell them.
Maybe they appreciate you as well.
That if you don't and they leave or go far away today, tomorrow can be too late.

If you love your parents, and never had the chance to show them... do it.
Maybe you have them there to show them how you feel.
That if you don't and they leave today, then tomorrow can be too late.

'Sir' Salman Rushdie

Salman Rushdie was awarded knighthood by British Queen Elizabeth II, and he is now entitled to put Sir in front of his name. He has been awarded for his services to literature.

Rushdie was well known for his book Satanic Verses, which offended Al-Koran and Prophet Mohammad, and therefore Iran Spiritual leader made a decree for his assassination.

This is another insensitivity of west to Muslims. The world knows exactly that Rushdie has offended Islam and created such a huge controversy, and awarding such an honorary title to Rushdie is an indirect offensive decision which will jeopardize the Islam – west relationship. It is still clear in our memory when Danish Cartoon created such a problem and took a lot of lives. For me it is an unwise and unnecessary decision of The British. Keeping the situation in harmony is everyone’s responsibility.

Heaven and Hell

I just visit Saryono's blog, and his posting stimulate my mind to question these things,

1. Do you believe in heaven and hell? If you do, then
2. In which one do you think you will end up?
3. Have you prepared for this?
4. Do you think your family member will be there too?
5. Do you think they will make your journey smoother or they will be a stumbling block?
6. What have you done to make them facilitate you rather than inhibit you?

Becoming a father, a husband, a son makes me think a lot about my responsibility to them. Have I done the right thing or not? Have i become a good role model for my children or not? These are tough questions to be answered, since the answer will be a long term result. I hope these kind of question bothers not only me, also all parents, coz if they don't even bother, how will it become. Just a thought.

I just opened my mail, and see an interesting offer from a sister in US - Jeannie, I hope you don't mind if I call you sister ;)-. There she said that she want to share her latest e-book for all for free of cost. I've known her for quite sometimes because a friend used to speak a lot about this stunning girl. Imagine, in her thirties she has written a thousand articles and more than sixty electronic and printed books, which has been spread in Indonesia, US, Canada, England, France, German and Singapore.

We have similar philosophy of life, that's "to be beneficial for other". Life is much much more precious when we are beneficial for others, isn't it? . I would like to share this info to all of you, so that you can also get this free e-book by subscribe here. I hope this will give some enlightenment.

Idealist? Johary Window

Blogwalking to Sylvia's blog I found an online personality test, driven by curiosity in a blink I finished all the questions, and the result is..
Testriffic.com

I am an Idealist. Well..to be very honest, I doubt it's validity. But then I remember something, JOHARI WINDOW, have you ever heard about this? that our knowledge about our personality divided into 4 quadrant. First, is something about yourself that you know and other people know ; second, something that you know and other people don't know ; third, something that other people know but you don't know ; and fourth something that you and other people don't know. It is said that how closer you are to the first quadrant then how healthier you are.

I thing this personality test is telling me something that I do not really know about my self. Try this test, it's fun, and tell us the result..namaste!!
